Peter Clark, David Hussman, Mary and Tom Poppendieck took in Sardinia and XP last month, and are back to share the experience.

Mary Poppendieck presented a tutorial at XP2002 and will review the talks of the three keynote speakers:

Dave Parnas, one of the founding fathers of software development - who wrote the famous article: Rational Development, How and Why to Fake IT

Jim Johnson, President of Standish Group - yes - THAT Standish group, the one that tells us how bad our industry is every year

Enirco Zaninotto, an economist who tried to let us know how XP fit into overall economic theory (Honestly!)

Peter Clark presented a poster at XP2002 and will review his favorite speakers and events

David Hussman presented a paper at XP2002 and will be at the July meeting to share his experiences (pending the status of the next generation)

Tom Poppendieck had his camera at XP2002, and has some stunning pictures to share, as well as breakfast and dinner conversations with Kent Beck, Dave Parnas, Martin Fowler, Ken Schwaber and others.
