Abstract

Aspect-oriented programming (AOP) continues to move into the mainstream of software development. This presentation provides an introduction to the concepts and terms of AOP to help keep you up to speed. Topics will include:

  • Aspects
  • Weaving
  • Syntax
  • Where is AOP applicable?
  • Pros and cons of AOP
Demonstrations will be given using AspectJ 5 within Eclipse.
