Abstract:
This presentation will discuss the importance of developing a comprehensive error handling and logging strategy. Such a strategy, in combination with a logging framework, can help you detect and correct defects more quickly. The presentation will also discuss JLog, a freely-available logging framework. Todd Lauinger developed JLog to help implement comprehensive error handling and logging quickly in Java projects.
Bio:
Todd Lauinger has been developing mission-critical engineering and business systems for over 10 years. He is currently employed as a Software Construction Fellow at Best Buy Co., Inc. Todd is also a freelance author, conference speaker, teacher, mentor, and consultant in his spare time.
