Summary

Ann Williamson will provide an in-depth look at the risks and benefits of utilizing Open Source software from a licensing perspective.

Speaker

Ann has extensive experience with software licensing as an attorney at UnitedHealth Group, where she developed, implemented and managed a company-wide Software Compliance and Asset Management Program. She specializes in Computer and Contract law and has negotiated multi-million dollar licensing agreements with Microsoft, Oracle, Novell, Sybase, and IBM. With a background in Software sales, she is a Certified Software Manager and is currently a member of Microsoft's Worldwide License Advisory Council. Presently, she is under special assignment at UnitedHealth Group, working on Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. When Ann is not researching or negotiating license agreements, she enjoys spending time with her 3 daughters and is learning to play the electric guitar.
