Summary

Interactions with the database are often considered a difficult area for unit testing. Louis will be presenting examples of how to unit test classes that usually interact directly with the database, techniques for doing larger scale integration tests against the database, and how these strategies can be used to unit test classes that closely interact with other system services.

Speaker

Louis Thomas is a senior developer at Deephaven Capital Management. Prior to this he worked at Microsoft on the Windows 2000/XP team after graduating from Caltech. Louis's passion is software development and he is always looking for ways to write better software.
