Lecture:

Ken will discuss unanticipated changes that are part and parcel of any Agile implementation, how some of them are pleasant and others decidedly unpleasant. This will include a discussion of quality and agile practices.

Schedule:

Hors d'oeuvres will be served from 6:30 until 7:00 p.m. Ken will lecture until 8:00, at which time the formal presentation will conclude. Dessert will then be served outside 3M Auditorium, allowing attendees another chance to chat.

Ticket Purchase Info:

The cost to attend this lecture is $25, free for all students with a current ID. University of St. Thomas faculty and staff presenting a current ID are also admitted free of charge in appreciation for the use of UST facilities. All attendees should register online and pay at the door.

About The Speaker

Ken Schwaber is an evangelist for Scrum and Agile. He is a signatory to the Agile Manifesto, and founder of the Agile Alliance and Scrum Alliance. He co-authored Scrum with Jeff Sutherland and has over 30 years of software development experience. His books, Agile Project Management with Scrum and Agile Software Development with SCRUM (the latter co-authored with Mike Beedle), are required reading for anyone wanting to apply the principles of Scrum in their workplace.
